I'm not sure if I understand this correctly. Are you saying that at
p/f the camera is too far out to be held by the eyepiece holder? The
last sentence is about the eyepiece projection unit - is that correct?

A simple solution to not having enough focuser extension is to take
one of your Barlows and unscrew the lens at its base. Put this safely
to one side (for when you want to use it as a Barlow again) and use
the main Barlow tube as an extension piece. This will hold the camera
out much further and, hopefully, allow you to achieve focus.
