Hi Daniel,

Thanks, I'd be very interested to know what is going on. All I can say is
that I've looked at all three scopes personally, the William Optics and
Telescope House (BCF) were just metres apart on trade stands and to be
honest the tube assemble was exactly the same apart from the logo and paint
colour to focus knobs and one ring on the tube.

Hi Mark,

I am afraid that you are assuming very wrong. The telescope is not made
by Synta, nor in China for that matter. The ZenithStar 80 is an old
William Optis 2004 design, and that is why it is best known to everyone
as such.

Cannot answer the question on optics for you, you will have to check
out for yourself, but if you do, let us know what you find out... Might
be interesting.
