Well.............
My S.O. has testicular Cancer ( the count is dropping thanks to the
treatment ) and the treatment IS the "Chemical castration" as the cancer
is
stimulated ( or lives off ) the Testosterone. And it really does
completely
remove any sex drive, it also adds about three stone in weight and removes
almost all the energy needed to day to day things.
I of course would rather have a plump, overweight S.O. than a dying, very
ill lover.

Of course.

What, or indeed how, a younger person would be affected, I don't know.
We are both happy about this.

I'm truly glad the treatment is working, and as always send my best
wishes for a good and timely recovery.

Thanks for all the good wishes we have received. S.O. is happy but lacking
in energy, but this should get better as a new( yet untried ( he's a willing
guinea pig)drug regime) is being tested on him. It should allow a small
amount of Testosterone to be produced, more energy, without the dangers that
happen when testosterone changes over time as it is given off.
Yes it's confusing, but it's ME doing the explaining.
Anyhoo.. thanks all.
