A proper SLR shouldn't be quite as prone to 'orbs' as a standard compact
digital, due to having variable focus. Sometimes it can get thrown off,
and only needs to be a very tiny alteration of focus not to show dust up.

I could imagine getting lots of them intermittently if I'd taken pictures
over the weekend at cosmeston, as there was a fair bit of dust blowing in
through the doors of the cottage I was in.
