Whut? No, seriously... eh?

I advocate mass-replies to the above address, with Monty Python's "The
SPAM Song."

Well, the website PaganPages does exist, and Jenn does appear to be
its listmistress. The site's possibly a teensy bit fluffy for most of
us jaded and cynical Old Europeans, but it looks perfectly genuine.
This may be a perfectly legitimate request with a real reason behind
it. I'd email her myself, to find out, except that I don't own or
moderate anything if I can help it.

That's as may be, but it's rather off-putting when some random person
drops a single sentence in and requests something without taking the
time to introduce oneself, or to discover whether or not the request is
appreciated or appropriate.

I'm siding squarely with both of you on this one. I was rather hoping
said Jenn might reappear and explain herself, but otherwise <shrug>.
Who is likely to mail and explain the workings of usenet, for example,
and would it make a difference if we did? If not spam itself, the post
resembled the precursor to spam.

Oh, what the heck, I'll email her in a guarded sort of way and ask her
what it's about.
