As the lone (almost) female on here you have
done a splendid job of balancing his extreme view of scripture
This one?
"As in all the churches of God's holy people, 34 the women must keep silent.
They don't have the right to speak.......It's shameful for a woman to speak
in church......37 Whoever thinks that he speaks for God or that he is
spiritually gifted must acknowledge that what I write to you is what the
Lord commands."1 Cor 14:33-37 (GW)

line with (imo) what the verses do mean.
LOL!
The sinful end result being women no longer obey Christ's command for their
silence in the Churches assemblies, John, and neither do they cover or shave their
heads as instructed before praying to Almighty god.....thus the exact
fulfilment of Christ's prophesy falls upon them.
" 'These people honour me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are but rules taught by men.' Mark 7:6-7 (ANIV)
Indeed, men have changed the command of Christ and substituted their own
rule which allows women to now speak, preach, read and lead in the church
congregations and so now they insist they be made priests and bishops
completely in antagonistic controversy to Holy Scripture instructions, which
cannot be denied.
For it is only in the past 11 years or so that women have been allowed to become
'priests' in so many sects and denominations.
For Centuries women where contained by Apostolic instructions that they were
to remain silent and passive in the churches, and they faithfully excepted it, faithfully obeying Jesus
Christ's command for their complete silence.
So we can see, John, that it is the churches of today who have deliberately and
treacherously changed the "Tradition" of the Apostles to foolishly
facilitate the present PC age of the unscriptural emancipation of women.
Indeed, the controversy still continues in the Anti-Christ churches as they split and divide over sinful women's and homosexual ordinations, which has now become "as doth a canker" in so many of the heretical church denominations.
Jeff...
"When I return the world the world will be as indifferent to the things of
God as the people were in Noah's day. They ate and drank and married --
everything just as usual right up to the day when Noah went into the Ark
and the flood came and destroyed them all," Luke 17:26-27 (TLB)
