Certainly I agree, but I still maintain that the authorities cannot be blamed for not recognising that paedophilia is not a subset of adultery/fornication (even if they can be blamed for not being as swift to recognise that fact as they should have been). After all, if you want examples of dodgy relationships, just travel a dozen miles from here to where they have just recently demolished the family home of the Liddles, whose daughter Alice provided the inspiration for Charles Dodson.
It got to the stage - so I believe - where even her parents smelled a rat and kept him away from her.
Just shows how one shouldn't trust mathematicians.
