Yes I find your comments and misrepresentations offensive, and I consider
the approach you have taken in matters of which you have no knowledge to be
beneath contempt. I most certainly take your comments personally, and for
very good reason. I was called a hypocrite for travelling to Thailand to see
my daughter, when there is zero - I repeat, for the hard of thinking, zero -
possibility of doing otherwise. See my latest answer to PS, and perhaps it
will sink in why.

I'm not calling you a hypocrite for travelling to Thailand. As I've
already said, in the same circumstances I would do exactly the same.
What appears to be hypocritical is when you appear to deny that other
people's reasons for travelling may be equally as pressing to them.

Mark, I agree that pg appears to have gone a little over the top on
this. But neither you nor I know, or can know, what the actual needs of
the situation are. He has indicated that his trip was necessary. There
is absolutely no need for him to explain further. It is none of our
business. We should accept his word and leave it at that. Anyone who
fails to do that is, in my very personal opinion, themselves coming very
close to the line of personal abuse.

I agree.
