That's why I don't have a problem with this. I expect the next world to
have a new and exciting physics in which the relationship of logical,
physical and mental might be quite different.

For me the incarnation is a peek into that world, in which death is not
the end, where it is possible to ask a storm to be quiet, or walk across
a lake. Particularly after the resurrection we see the new body obeying
new and more general laws. The empty tomb is a little hint at what is
going on, not that God couldn't choose to bring Jesus back without
emptying the tomb, but that he chooses, in the joy of self-definition,
to work through laws and regularities.

Perhaps the more "material" descriptions we find in the Bible and
subsequent Christian writings result from attempts to understand
things for which the language hasn't existed for long.

Or in extreme cases doesn't exist yet. :=*)
