Oh I know my Bible very well Jeff, unfortunately for you - apparently
a good deal better than you do, because nowhere is it recorded that
"the Master has forbidden and commanded against killing." You made
that one up, like you make up a good deal of what you say. It might
well have been something that He might have said, and you might indeed
have preferred Him to have said it, but unfortunately He didn't.

I know jolly well he did....

But you can't tell us where in the Bible that is recorded.

and it puts you to shame when you say you know
your Bible well, yet cannot even remember the passages which show he and
the
Apostles are against his brethren using violence or killing and murdering
others.

Oh, there are plenty of passages which show that Jesus was generally
opposed to violence.

There you are then, you have fouled up your own the case already.

If you want to extrapolate doctrine from those
passages, you are welcome to do so.

I certainly do, and will.

But there are none where he is
explicitly recorded as forbidding and commanding against killing.

You must be reading something different on another planet then....{;o;}
"18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good
but one, that is, God. 19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit
adultery, Do NOT kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not,
Honour thy father and mother."Mark 10:18-19 (KJV)
When the Master informs us NOT to do something, by a commandment, what do
you think that means, Mark?

"51 But one of the men with Jesus pulled out his sword and struck the high
priest's slave, slashing off his ear.
52 "Put away your sword," Jesus told him. "Those who use the sword will die
by the sword." Matt 26:51-52 (NLT)
Not a very nice prospect for all those faithless christians who have
wilfully disobeyed Christ and have killed others including their own
brothers and sisters in World Wars, right, Mark?.

"9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10 He that leadeth into captivity
shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with
the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. " Rev 13:8-10
(KJV)

So here we have Christ reiterating his passage in Matthew, that those who
use "swords" guns, etc, in our day, as instruments of death, will be killed
themselves [either by their enemies] or after their judgment. But the true
saints will have the wisdom to patiently refrain and obey Christ's command
not to kill or commit murder, not only preserving their lives but also being
faithful and obedient to their Masters command and wishes ready for an
entrance into the next life meant only for the "FEW" who DO remain faithful.
Right! Mark!

Paul to the Romans.....
"8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another
hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou
shalt NOT kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet;" Romans 13:8-9 (KJV)
See! No adultery...and also NO! killing, irrespective of whether the foolish, the ignorant, or reprobates, agree or not.

And James....
"11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do NOT KILL. Now if
thou commit no adultery, yet IF THOU KILL, thou art become a transgressor of
the law." James 2:11 (KJV)
What does "DO NOT" mean, Mark?
And....."Yet IF thou kill"?

Such
a conclusion is based on a exegesis of Scripture which requires
interpretation rather than the "plain reading" of which you are
inordinately fond.

Hum! I think it's 'plain' enough to any who wish to humbly obey Christ.
On the other hand.....we shall now see what you come up with to justify
killing and murdering others as you would apparently do if a war was
declared and you were called up to fight to 'protect' the country and your
own family.

I am rather busy for the rest of the day....but this evening I will show
you
just where the Master has forbidden and commanded against killing people.

It only takes a moment to give a Scripture reference.

One reference perhaps, but I like to take my time and deliberate on several
and other corresponding passages also.

>It would have
been quicker than writing what you have just written.

No it wouldn't, so you are completely wrong as you are about other
things........{;o;}

Jeff...
Wow! Plane actually landing on the Hudson River
