Sit up and pay attention, Robert.
Faithful Christians will personally not kill or murder anybody, even in

or self-defence, for the Master has forbidden and commanded against

Where has the "Master forbidden and commanded against killing" ? Just
for interest.
I thought you knew your Bible well, Keith, and you have to ask such an
elementary question?
Shame on you.
Once again, Jeff avoids answering the question and instead chooses to
insult the questioner.
If he doesn't know by now he ought to be shamed, and do a bit of study
himself.
Jeff, the reason people ask you these questions is usually not because
they don't know the answer,
Poppy***....they don't have the answers that match the Apostolic doctrines
of the 1st Century.
but because they suspect that you don't.
Well they may suspect it.....{;o;}
By avoiding giving a straight response all you do is confirm their
opinion as to your ignorance.
When I give straight responses from Scripture passages.....they just want
to dissect and reconstruct it to mean something entirely opposite to what
the NT writer intended. This is annoying and frustrating as I can see these
people haven't a clue and remain lost souls for their failure to accept what
the great Apostles actually taught for all churches for all centuries.
When it comes to people like Phil, yourself, and others, like Keith, who
profess they know their Bibles pretty well, then don't expect me to do your
research for you. It is far better as you know, to find the answers
yourself, as they then sink more deeply within the brain.
Oh I know my Bible very well Jeff, unfortunately for you - apparently
a good deal better than you do, because nowhere is it recorded that
"the Master has forbidden and commanded against killing." You made
that one up, like you make up a good deal of what you say. It might
well have been something that He might have said, and you might indeed
have preferred Him to have said it, but unfortunately He didn't.
I have even offered to render clues, so they may acquire a deeper learning,
but all that proceeds is vilification, and false accusations of lying, can't
answer, etc. If they had the sense to accept the clues they might progress,
or show up their obvious fatalistic death-wish.
You would make an excellent politician, Jeff. Always avoid giving a
direct answer to a direct question. If you are caught out in an error
of judgement or can be proved to be wrong - immediately run a smear
campaign against the opposition to take the heat off yourself. Very
quickly begin the flim-flam so that everybody actually loses track of
what it was all about in the first place, and thus you can escape.
Mind you, by the standards of many every day simple minded folk who
don't even profess a belief in God or Christianity - their simple
standards of honesty and integrity outstrip yours.
So as far as you are concerned I have mentally drawn a line through
your name and shall not answer any more of your postings in the way
that I have done in the past.
I have decided that the best way to deal with yourself is to simply
cease to communicate on the level that I have been doing with you. So
from this point on I shall not be baited or rise to your inane
gibberings to enter discussion with you until you behave more
appropriately. So when any answer that you may request of me does not
appear, either in any current postings or any in the future - do
remember what I have said - I will not respond to you.
I shall simply read what you have to say and where and when I feel
inclined and deem that you are incorrect simply post something
accordingly and discuss it with anybody else who thinks it worthy of
discussion.
You can refer to other people as "lost souls" til you are blue in the
face and choke on your own venom. It still won't make them "lost".
You may even prefer them to be lost so that you can make yourself feel
better and feed your own sense of self superiority. It still won't
make them lost. You can gibber and rant til you have no more breath
to gibber and rant with and you can wear your fingers down to the bone
with typing. But one thing you cannot do - and that is - make the
decision or the declaration on the destiny of a single soul and
whether they be lost or not.
"Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he
standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to
make him stand." Romans 14:4

So far as I can remember, there is not one word in the Gospels in
praise of intelligence.
