Two points.

Both of you: you have responded to an 11k post with a single line of
irrelevant text. *Please* will you snip the parts you are not replying to
(and, Tim, in deference to the rest of us, please don't do either of the
things you threaten above).

Secondly, Tim: you complained about this on erc a while back, and I offered
a suggestion which might help, but you didn't respond. In fact the problem
is at *your* end, not the person you're replying to.

Install OE-Quotefix on your PC (see
http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/oe-quotefix/). Although it's now out of
date it still appears to fix this particular problem and has the added
advantage of formatting your Outlook Express posts properly. I'm not sure
why it happens; I Googled it a while back but couldn't find anything - but
it's the news posting software of the respondent which is failing.
