Don't worry, I now have to repost up to three times before they finally get

I do not understand why they get 'lost' in the first place, can anyone
explain?

virgin. I had sort of worked out that if the newsreader software had
been logged on for a while they tended not to get posted, but if I
closed it first and then quickly pasted the text into the response and
posted it - it appeared. Obviously I was barking up the wrong tree.
