It is funny you should mention Perl
I am just in the process of moving quite a few of my customers
websites from their previous home on to a new host on eukhosting and
every one of them that previously used a form using formmail.pl very
successfully, now fails to work
Explorer comes back with -
CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete
set of HTTP headers.
I have run a test page with only one return field to check it is not
in the html code with the same error so I know the fault is in the
formmail.pl. But can I see it? Not on your life. lol
Formmail.pl, at least in its default installation, is horribly
insecure. So a lot of webhosts either disable it altogether, alias it
to a script of their own (so when you think you're using Formmail,
you're not) or wrap it in another script to keep it secure. It sounds
as if you may be encountering one of these.
