You are wrong about That. The books may be seemly innocent, but Rick
Warren is a deciver.

Here I'll direct you to some sites where you can download some
audio. He has been stopped by theses Protestant Evangelicals like
Dave Hunt of the Berean Call, Slice of Laodieca, VcyAmerica,
Christian Research Net, and Apprising Minstries. They have exposed
whole agenda.

I only looked at this one, I'm not a great fan of Rick Warren. I think
his books are Biblically lightweight and take the Bible in particular
directions that aren't justified by the breadth of the Biblical vision.
But I just think the above site is OTT in its criticisms

All of us tend to peddle the bits of the bible we feel most
comfortable with and it is far easier to see the biases of others
rather than our own unbalanced bits

I hold various views on faith that I know you would find deeply
distressing and will be going to a Churches together meeting tonight
where I may well hear views that we'd both also dislike (but probably
not the same bits ;-)) but that's part of learning to live and work
together as Christians

I'll say no more about it. It's up to you. The English are different.

I thank you
