Jesus says that the wine of the Eucharist is the blood of the
covenant;
Meaning that the New Covenant is not based on blood but on wine. That
is
why
we no longer offer sacrifices.
Isn't the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of
Christ? Did he say "This cup is the new covenant in wine"?
Well of course in the RCC it is. Even though it looks like wine,
tastes
like wine and is made from grapes in exactly the same way as wine.
Because
the RCC has some magical way to know that despite all the evidence
pointing one way the opposite is true. That magical way is that they
say
so.
It's not magic: it's just what Jesus said. If you think he was just a
magician, fine: your choice. If you refuse to drink his blood, fine,
your
choice. John 6:53.
If any partake of the wine before belief and 1st Century authentic
baptism, such are only "Drinking damnation" unto themselves, as they are
partaking of such sacraments unworthily, not having "Put on Christ".
Jeff...
So are they more damned than they were before Jeff? How much more damned?
10%? 20%? Hiow many times before they are 100% damned?
Percentages of 'damnation' do not appear to be mentioned in Scripture,
Phil.
Just call it another 6 inch nail in the coffin lid.
Then if they are damned already, as Jesus said, how can they be more damned
Jeff?
Phil
