In the bible baptism seems to take place before instruction not after it.
Really? Phillip instructed the Ethiopian before baptising him, St Paul did
likewise before baptising the gaoler. Which one were you thinking of?
What do you mean by "instruct".
It seems to me it was an explanation of the gospel and someone putting their
faith in Christ then they were immediately baptised.
I don't get any sense of six weeks learning the catechism or about how
presbytries work or what deacons do.
