Well, that's given me a new affection for Google Maps. But I admit
that the bird's eye view is neat, and it has more recent data than
Google (at least in the one place I checked, namely the house we're
in the process of buying). Oddly, the ordinary aerial view is using
older and fuzzier images than the bird's eye view.
I was impressed with local.live.com as well. My house is clear to see (but
only my wife's car is out the front, the one she got rid of four years
ago), so it's better than Google Earth.
I also looked at Llangollen - which is what started all this off. The
Methodist church of which I spoke is down by the river - pan up and left
from the one Mike pointed out, it's big building next to another big one
with a red roof.
