Can you use talc for building? These stone blocks are definitely being
used
for building. The structures I saw under construction included a couple of
walls and what appeared to be a one-roomed, single-story house or possibly
annex to a house.

Perhaps gypsum then
Wouldn't pure Gypsum be too soft to use as the self supporting block system
Ken seems to be describing? In NZ we use Limestone in that manner, is that
another possibility?
