Not really, but he didn't.
I think it would matter, a little, as it would make Jesus the sort of person who, knowing himself to be the Son of God and knowing that he'd have to die and then be raised, would get married and have a child whom he knew he wouldn't be around to support, subjecting his wife to a lot of misery and possibly worse danger than she would have been in as a mere disciple. Also, I don't think he'd want to father a child who might be maltreated, spoilt, or worshipped, because of who his father was.
