And there again is someone making the same assumption that those who
disagree with you "despise" the little ones, or "care less" or whatever
other emotive phrase you want to use.

The assumption is unwarranted and downright insulting. As an attempt to
claim the moral high ground it fails totally because there is no high
moral ground in false accuations.
