So are you going to explain how you indentify a supernatural
intervention?

It's one that isn't natural.

You mean like the time I was driving home late at night from
a meeting expecting to gas up on the way home but all the
stations were closed, the car didn't have enough gas to get
me home, so I (desperately) prayed and then watched the gage
move up a quarter tank and I got home OK?

Trouble with modern convenient society is, we don't need
miracles - these days you just swipe a credit card at an all
night gas station.

I've been told that it surely didn't happen, I must have
mis-read the gage, misunderstood how much gas I had; but I'd
owned that car for several years and kept perfect record of
miles driven and fuel purchased and miles per gallon. I
knew exactly how much gas that monthly round trip took and
that I had started out late (left work late) with too little
gas.

I have absolutely no problem with that. Next time, tell us beforehand
that God is going to do such a miracle and it will be recorded as one.
