Long Live America (name a war they won on their own if you can)
The American Civil War. The 'liberation' of Grenada.
Wasn't some rock band involved in that war? With special forces using a
huge PA truck.
I think you're thinking of the extrication of Noriega from his refuge
by blasting loud music at the place. That was Panama.
Oh yes, you're correct.
Always intrigued me that the US invaded Grenada when the island is "an
Associated State" of Great Britain. But even here this "war" wasn't all
their own work. From the CIA World Factbook, and what better source of
political information is there?, six other Caribbean nations were involved
in the invasion. Seems Phil Saunders' question continues to await an
answer.
