Let's see:
Message-ID: <lK6If.20248$0H1.16260@trnddc04>
"You trust them once, but if they screw up you do NOT trust them
twice"
Now, all of a sudden, you want to be trusted a THIRD time after having
done the same thing TWICE before. Just how double do your standards
need to be before you'll admit that's what they are?
A THIRD time? I suppose if you want to count Hiroshima and Nagasaki as
twice, even though they were part of the same operation. (shrug)
The thing is, we haven't used them for longer than I've been on the planet.
That is certainly more than one can say of the terrorists currently using
them.
You are being, errr, economical with your definitions again. Are
'WMD' limited to nukes or not this sentence? It seems to change with
alarming regularity. The US _has_ used WMD more frequently than it
has used nuclear bombs. No terrorists have ever used nukes.
Whenever you talk about the US, 'them' (WMD) is limited to nuclear
weapons. Whenever you talk about anyone else you class everything
more destructive than a bayonet as a WMD. Please make your mind up
and stick to one definition.
Btw, whatever definition you use, you can't escape the fact that the
US is the only group on earth that has ever nuked a city. And the US
has done it twice. I refer you to your comment above - the one you
are happy to apply to everyone else, but seem to think doesn't apply
to the USA.
