Hey, I don't know you personally. I am going by news about Christians
in the media and my own personal experience. You really don't behave
any better than the average Joe, do you?
The tone of some of you spirit-filled creatures in this newsgroup is
appalling at times. Various people have announced they have quit, I
understand, in recent years, due to the acrimony. But why should one be
surprised. We have a zillion different denoms now when once there was
only one. That's evidence enough that most Christians just can't stay
on Jesus's path for very long.
Matt 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
What I would like to see among Christians is some serenity. That alone
would make me wonder if there was something in it (Christianity).
Genuine belief in a paradise to come ought to lead to some sort of
better behaviour. If you all get up thinking every day, "I'm going to
paradise," why do Christians still get so ratty?
