I suspect it would be even more interesting if someone could dig up
evidence of research into ID.

All that has appeared here, in one form or another, has been stuff
attacking evolution without giving any scientific evidence to back up
the ID side of things. Gareth, as far as I can see, has been
highlighting this aspect.

Am I being totally naive and/or scientifically ignorant when I ask
where ID fits in with the current research into the origins of the
universe ?

Does anybody know the current state of research into the "peppered
moth", the only (to me) known case of modern evolution in action?
