Of course, Jesus lived in an era before mad cows, polluted seas and so on.
He also lived before globalisation made it possible to eat a healthy
vegetarian diet with produce from every part of the world. Whatever the
situation in His day, these days vegetarianism is both possible and more
healthy than the carnivorous alternative.

However if your attitude is, "Jesus ate meat, so I'm going to eat meat even
if it kills me", then I hope you will start wearing beard, a one-piece robe,
sandals, and go to church on Saturday.
