Think it would be very useful to show, nearest shops within walking distance, the next pubs should we want to eat, even the next marina for fuel... all sorts of things
routes' in a number of standard formats. Just 'plan' a route and press
the 'continue' button which is at the bottom of the data display. That
gives you an option to save/export and at least one is compatible with
Garmin devices (I use it to load routes onto my Garmin Etrex Legend) but
I haven't tried it on the Nuvi.
