Alcohol is not a stimulant, it is a suppressant. However amongst the
first parts of the brain to be suppressed are those that act as
behavioural inhibitors, hence the apparent stimulant effect.
But the cup of tea Dave was referring to *is* a stimulant.
Absolutely.
Interestingly alcoholic drinks and tea both act as diuretics, so they
both make you p*ss up the wall.
