Cheerio

I have been following this newsgroup for many years,
but having sold our boat 'Linton' 3 or 4 years ago now
the withdrawal symptoms have passed, and I am finding
less of interest amongst the 70 or so daily posts.

I retain an interest in the 'track', and will continue
to develop my website http://www.tonycanalpics.co.uk
to include the many hundreds of photographs taken
around the system since the early 1970's, as time permits
the scanning of my old slides.

Nonetheless I shall shortly cease the newsgroup feed
except on irregular occasions when I shall let you know of any
major developments on the website.

I wish you all well, and, to those with a boat,
happy boating despite the troubles of recent months.
