Of course it is true that there have been huge changes of the earth's
climate in the past. But the results of many of them were
environments that humans (and most other fauna and flora we have
around, and rather like, today) would find rather difficult to live
in. I suggest it make sense to avoid triggering such changes. Even
if the current warming is not being caused by people (which seems very
unlikely to me) it is not clear that that is the case so it is simply
good insurance to reduce the activities that might be to blame.
It also saves money, as someone else mentioned. e.g. My car runs on
propane, which not only releases less carbon than petrol but is half
the price at the pump.

No. Mrs A didn't have a licence.
The fact the CO2 constitutes such a tiny proportion of the atmosphere. Many scientists believe we could quadruple it and it would make no difference.
Name three.
I'll go ggogle some. Be back tomorrow.
One drop of (e.g.) sarin on your skin will kill you. But of course,
that's such a tiny proportion of your body size that you won't bother
about it.
Indeed. And would 18% less not kill you?
