I am suprised reading this that the stores don't charge £1 for using
trolleys. You put coin in to release from chains and after shopping you
chain back up to retrieve the coin.
Its practically defacto round this way.
Even in centre of town with a small trolley.
Tesco claim that they "can't afford" to fit coin release mechanism.
Odd that they can afford to lose 20 trolleys every weekend.
