Not hired in this area. But to Mike's point re cost. I firmly beleive that
with hire boats you get what you pay for. I've had the "bottom of the
range" boats in the past, and they are OK, but often basic, sometimes a pig
to start! - I remember (early '80s) an Ian Goode(?) boat (Autumn Haze) that
needed 60+ seconds of cranking to fire it up, and the door between the two
cabins didn't close properly, so it was undress in the dark! If you like
basic camping/caravaning then the cheap ones will be fine. If you want more
luxury then pay more. In August central heating might be a luxury you don't
need. Check the specifiactions carefully.
