Re: Canaltime curiosity

Well, I bought an eight day Canaltime 'holiday' on eBay...for £110....about
1/6th of the equivalent rental craft.

I found the 55ft boat sound, warm, comfortable, well-equiped and
super-clean.

The company (at their Alvecote base) was extremely friendly and
accommodating, efficient in the extreme ; had I not just bought my own nb I
would have seriously considered buying a week (or more) at the right price
(whatever that is !).

The ONLY thing I didn't like was the lack of foredeck, but we've already
explored the reaons behind that...all very sound.

Personally, I really couldn't fault the nice people at Alvecote...but it's
'whatever floats yer boat', eh ? !
