Our trip to the National will start tomorrow (Monday) afternoon when we set
off towing gamebird the 200 miles down to Preston Brook.
We plan to sleep on board, possibly in the truck park at Lymm, as we will be
too late to launch before the yard closes (Iain is on night shift tonight
and plans to get a few hours sleep before we set off).
On Tuesday morning we plan to launch at Preston Brook marina and set off
down the Trent and Mersey. We then hope to go down the lift and spend a bit
of time on the Weaver (this will make us one of the few Wheely Lift boats!)
..
Before going to our mooring at the National on Friday we would like to go to
Lymm and have a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
We will be at the National till the end this time, and will put gamebird
back on her trailer on Tuesday morning for the long haul back.
We are looking forward to meeting old friends and making some new ones again
this year,
Ann
