Re: Maps for Garmin GPS receivers

Thanks for all the replies. I'd only really asked as I'd ordered the
new GPSr but it hadn't arrived and I thought I may be able to look at
the maps on the PC. The new Legend HCx arrived today - sadly the
microSD card didn't! - so I'm not much further forward. However I put
in some batteries, loaded a route and took it for a stroll around some
local back roads - most impressive, some similarities to the original
Legnd but a lot to look at yet.

Hadn't thought about getting cards for each set of maps - I spend a
fair bit of time in the US so this would be useful.
