Do you reckon the latest TOPO Great Britain would be any improvement on my
existing Mapsource software?

Depends on what your existing software is. If you have v.1 Topo, then v.2
will mean that you wont be as confused by new roundabouts and bypasses
etc. when using it in-car as a satnav. However, v.2 does not have the new
road layout in central Bradford.

No its mapsource v 6:14:1..as I say I can't fathom if TOPO GB V2 will be
much better that what I have.

Mapsource is just the program that comunicates between the GPS and
your PC.

I have City Navigator Europe and the free contours installed. If all
you have is the basemap from Waypoint Manager then either TOPO or City
Navigator plus contours will be an improvement. Find out what you have
installed in Mapsource from Menu>View>Switch to Product.
