When I read some of Ted's comments as above that I feel more and more
that the ordinary motorist is being persecuted by the police who use
underhand means to target speeding cars. I don't mean boy racers but
the fairly minor incidents like a friend of mine who was clocked doing
45mph in a 40mph zone having just left a 60mph zone. 60quid fine and
the 3 points on his licence. It is frustrating when you hear of other
"crimes" being reported and nothing is done about them.
The 'ordinary motorist' - particularly the one who drives over the
speed limit - kills and destroys the lives of far more children and
innocent people in Britain than either the paedophile or the terrorist
does.
But I don't hear paedophiles and terrorists compaining about a 60 quid
fine and 3 points on his licence.
