Agreed, but when ones diet is 'out of control' - staying away from home
(especially with friends, where one eats what is given), travelling a lot,
backpacking etc., not only are supplements useful but are more needed if
the usual diet is very good (because the sudden, radical change can have a
big effect).
I can have a problem when I can't get enough fruit and veg: 5 a day? - that
would be a large reduction for me. It's the lack of fibre, but we won't go
in to that...
