That's a handy tip. I'll try to remember that if I ever need to use it. What
would you need to use it for?
I used it recently getting off Geal Charn above Glen Markie in the
clag. I needed to walk a dog-leg along a lumpy broad ridge and hadn't
put any waypoints in other than the summits of Munros. Of course you
need a map to know what bearing to walk on.
