I thought it was an excellent programme as an introduction for people that don't take part in mountain/hill walking but are interested in the concept. The explanation of why Munros are Munros and the people of the area that he spoke to were nice additional information pieces. The aerial shots of the mountains were fantastic and although I'm not a great fan of GRJ he carried the subject well with a nice combination of willing but nervous novice and comedian.

I thought that the 90 minutes made up for the rest of the rubbish in an average evening's TV.
I enjoyed both programmes, and it is about 33 years since I did Striding Edge so it was a reminder of an exciting walk. The awkward step didn't seem as steep as when we did it though. :)
