I now have too much information to digest in the time available and tomake proper choices. I wonder could someone recommend a few walks in
the book or in the websites that I should research further?
Take a look at my walks at www.thewalkzone.co.uk which will give a few options. Most are 8 miles upwards, with the older walks having route descriptions. Got a bit lazy in recent times and now just produce a slide show with a description for each photo. Although no description, the photos are from the whole route, so a little bit of effort with an OS map could identify the walks.
