What you don't say is whether you have calibrated the barometric
altitude of the Geko 301 at the start and also whether you have the unit
set to autocalibrate in use.
Chris has a Forerunner 301, not a Geko 301. I don't think it has an
altimiter.
It doesn't. In fact, I'm quite surprised it's even bot a backlight.
