Ideally I would like a walk in the South/ South East section of the Peak
District and I'd like it to take no more than 3 - 4 hours and to include a
peak (for satisfaction factor..)

Well, to be honest we aint actually got many hills that really stand out
as hills. Although its the Peak district it does not proliferate with them.
You might consider something based around Dovedale. It can be a bit
touristy around the southern end but its a lovely walk and you could
easily put together length of walk you want. Thorpe Cloud will give
you your hill while the George at Alstonfield might provide you with
the accomodation. The Devonshire estate also have a fair amount of
holiday accomodation in Wetton, where there is also a pub.

What about a Win Hill/ Lose Hill circuit?
