The message <va6dnepJlajcw3rZRVnyrw@xxxxxx>
from "Alan" <notatthisaddress@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> contains these words:

Raining 1st thing this morning and a bit misty but then eased off and for
a
few hours with no rain on Carn Y Cefn.....been on and off most of the day
though so it would have been a bit pot luck - don't think it has been
as bad
today as the last few so hopefully ok.

We dodged what few showers there were in the morning but weren't so
lucky in the afternoon. We sat in Martins car for half an hour under
Myarth as Martin had forgotten his waterproof trousers but although the
rain eased it did not stop until we were back on the way down. Got
caught again early evening on Craig y Llyn with me without my
overtrousers on account of it only being a short walk. (Ha! ha!). Bone
to pick with Fran, what Icecream Van? :-)

Anyway Martin should now enter the Hall of Fame and I think I am to be
confined to the cellar for my sins.

Well done Martin and pity your last few were wet ones.....sadly, Carn Y Cefn
is now bathed
in sunshine - sun came out about 4ish today, typical innit.

Did you see many people around Myarth as the Glan Usk Estate was chocko full
when I drove past about 9pm last night.

Nearest Marilyn still to be visited - Winter Hill.
31 miles as the crow flies,
considerably more as the walker drives.
