What country? Scotland? No I do not. The said laws are applicable in
Scotland as in England.
The laws are different in Scotland to England. The Land Reform Act (2003) gives a right of access to land in Scotland. England has no such law.
I'm getting rather p*ssed of of posters, who do not know the laws
concerning farming activities etc. And what is legal!!!!!! Only wingers
who want their own way:-(
You're the one who doesn't know the current legal position.
I've never had any problems walking the Scottish hills due to access
problems in 35 years. But it seems "modern hillwalkers" are of a
different ilk:-(
You've been lucky then. I've been walking in Scotland since the 1970s (I live in Scotland) and my experience has not been the same, though problems have been rare.
The point however is that under the Land Reform Act landowners cannot just put up three miles of fence without access points.
