Some of the country road signs around here have grid references on them.
When I first got my GPS, I was walking passed one in the Purbecks (East
Creech IIRC) so I stopped to check it and found it was about half a mile
out. I checked the map and it was the post, not the GPS. My first thought
was that they might have re-used the post, but the ref was not on a road
junction, so it looks like it was just in error.
