Thank you for all your advice, I guess I am not alone in being a bit
wary!!
Sadly for me, Jake (my dog) is a) black and white b) a Border Collie
and c) scared of cows as he was with me in one of my earlier more
frightening incidents. Believe me he wants to be as far away from them
as I do!
I have been considering getting a stick/walking pole anyway so it
looks like it will be a good idea on more than one count.
