I fail to see why. It's not like he's attempting some monster like Liathach
or something inconveniently remote like Beinn Bhrotain. ISTR that the
second "proper" hill I climbed was the Pike after doing Pen-y-ghent and on
a cloggy rainy day it failed to present any real problem apart from
excessive boredom.
