The police removed one of those down this way last week. You should have
heard the complaints - Desecration! Sacrilege! etc. The complaints
quietened down a little (but only a little) when the police pointed out
that the distraction caused by the cellotaph was the most likely cause of
a recent fatal car crash at that spot .
